When movement starts to feel good again, everything shifts
Here's what changes when you feel confident in your body again
-
Everyday tasks feel easier
-
You move with more freedom and ease
-
You get back to doing the things that you love, whatever that looks like for you
-
You feel more independent and confident about making plans for the future.
Moving Well with Parkinson's Disease
Moving Well with Parkinson's Disease is a 6 week movement programme designed to restore confidence in your body so that you can get back to doing the things that you love.
In this programme we will start to restore movement in the body. We will work through a series of guided movement sessions with a basis in the Pilates method that will get you moving the whole body. You will need an exercise mat for these sessions, no other equipment is required.
We will move together twice a week and once a week you will have the opportunity to ask me any questions about the movement sessions.
The Facebook community will be a place where you can meet like minded people and ask me any questions.
Hi, I'm Helen
I know how worrying it can be when your health changes, especially when you have so much time to live.
Before becoming a Pilates Teacher I worked in the corporate world as an IT Project Manager. I understand what it is like to juggle responsibility, pressure and daily challenges while trying to look after your health.
Living with coeliac disease has also shown me first-hand how a diagnosis can quietly change everyday life.
It's why I care so deeply about creating a space where my clients feel supported - especially those who don’t feel served by large fitness classes or one-size-fits-all approaches.
And why I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing training, workshops, and biomechanics study.
But most importantly, it's why I listen.
Because when people feel seen, supported, and safe to move again, confidence starts to return.
And that changes everything.
